In 2019, on Christmas Eve, Iran Angel discovered that her then-husband, Hulk, was having an affair with her niece. Eventually the footballer separated from her and continued with the girl.
According to the newspaper Extra!, after the end of her 12-year marriage to Hulk, asked the court for an investigation into the player’s assets in Brazil and around the world. Of the 54 properties, half remained in Iran, worth R$59.6 million, including land in Portugal and a house in Orlando, US. Furthermore, before the sharing action, her ex-husband had deposited a total of R$100 million into her account.
After the traumatic divorce, Iran has recovered and is now betting on love again. She is dating engineer Lucas Suassuna, 28 years her junior. He is from Paraíba, just like her, and usually meets her in João Pessoa or São Paulo, where he lives with her three children with Hulk.
