Another minus one couple in Hollywood: People has obtained court documents that 51-year-old actor Johnny Knoxville – whose real name is Philip John Clapp – is asking for a divorce from his wife, Naomi Nelson. It follows from the statement that the couple broke up on September 24, 2021, and on the day of the 11th wedding anniversary.
The Jackass star is also asking for joint legal custody of the former couple’s two children, 12-year-old son Rocco and 10-year-old daughter Arlo. In addition, Knoxville claims to own part of the property, the amount of which is not specified. Lawyers for the actor have so far declined to comment.
Note that Knoxville keeps his personal life a secret. Details of his relationship with Naomi appear in the press extremely rarely, and the latest news is rather an exception.
Johnny Knoxville and Naomi Nelson have been together since September 2008. On December 21, 2009, their son Rocco Akira Clapp was born, and on September 24, 2010, the couple got married. A year later, on October 6, 2011, their daughter Erlo Clapp was born. The actor also has a daughter, Madison (b. 1996), from his marriage to Melanie Lyn Cates – the couple were married from 1995 to 2007.
Knoxville’s latest on-screen work is the 2022 film Freaks Forever. In the story, grown-up thrill-seekers once again perform wildly absurd and often dangerous comedy tricks. In the new part of the franchise, star newcomers join the already familiar heroes. Also, the actor is known for his work in the films “Jerks”, “King of Dogtown”, “Men in Black 2” and others.
