At the end of September (21/09) the former volleyball player passed away Walewska Oliveira, 43 years old, who represented Brazil at the Olympic Games. She left R$1,312,850 from her life insurance to two beneficiaries: her mother and her husband.




Furthermore, the parents are also heirs to the Walewska estate. However, the family does not want to share the athlete’s money Ricardo Alexandre Mendesher husband, as she claims he contributed to her death.

According to the Notícias da TV portal, Ricardo has already submitted a request to withdraw the sum, but the operation can only be completed after sending seven documents, including a police report and the athlete’s report.

Since the case is still under investigation by the police, the insurance company explained to the lawyers that it will proceed with the case only after the authorities have concluded: “The analysis by the insurer can only take place after complete receipt of these documents”.
