After having suffered a robbery attempt on the morning of this Friday 8th, during the Meeting with Patricia Poetafrom TV Globo, the journalist Juliane Massaoka he reported the scare on social media.

He was preparing to make a live appearance with the program directly from Avenida Paulista, in Sao Paulo, which turns 132 this Friday. As she spoke into the camera, a cyclist passed Juliane and tried to take her cell phone from her hand.

“Art saves! And a good team is even more so! Today I suffered a robbery attempt during a live connection to the Meeting with Patrícia Poeta. In broad daylight, with security cameras, a Globo camera and vehicles of the Military Police less than a block away. It’s difficult to describe the feeling, perhaps a mixture of helplessness, sadness and fear,” Juliane said on her social network.

“But this cannot paralyze us. Thank God, this robber was not armed and the security guard Celso Rodrigues was agile, he held the boy and only let go when he saw that I was in one piece and with my cell phone in my hand”, the journalist reported in the caption of the photo she published with the security guard and the team.

“How lucky I was! Sometimes I see complaints on the internet from people who say that the program talks too much about violence, that the topic is heavy… because they know that all we want is to bring lightness, art, entertainment and good news “Despite the scare, we showed the beautiful work of guitarist Victor Martins and told a little about the history of Avenida Paulista, which goes far beyond the episode recorded today,” he continued.

The journalist also reassured the public and informed that she had already returned to the station: “But unfortunately there are days when violence prevails and we talk about it, we denounce it, in the hope of seeing changes. For those who are worried: the team and I’m fine, with all our things and now we are back at TV Globo in complete safety.”
