Maria Sofia Valim, daughter of the mayor of Caucaia, dies at 19: ‘Deep pain and sadness’

Vittorio Valimmayor of Caucaia, announced this Saturday, 12/09, the death of his daughter Maria Sofia Valim, 19 years. The young woman died after undergoing a liver transplant.

“It is with the deepest pain and sadness that I inform everyone of the passing of my beloved daughter Sofia. Unfortunately her body did not survive. I thank everyone for the prayers and affection dedicated to me and my family in this moment of extreme suffering“, began Vitor Valim.

Then, the mayor extended a special thank you: “Heartfelt thanks to the donor family who filled us with so much hope and love. With great emotion, Vitor Valim“, he concluded.
