Ana Hickmann and her ex-husband have requested loans of around R$28 million in 2023 alone
According to Estadão, Ana Hickmann and Alexandre Correa have outstanding debts with Bradesco bank. This is because the 3rd Civil Court of the Regional Court of Lapa, in São Paulo, established the three-day period for the former couple to pay the sum of R$1.68 million. In the action the bank specifies that they requested loans of approximately R$28 million in 2023 and did not make all the payments.
Ana Hickmann and Alexandre Correa risk having their assets seized if they fail to make payment. According to the newspaper, the bank initiated an extrajudicial enforcement action to recover the unpaid sums.
In May this year, one of the loans requested by the former couple amounted to 1.4 million reais, divided into 60 fixed installments. According to the Bradesco bank, they only paid the first installment in July. In total, the couple has collected around 28 million reais, the result of small loans, requested in different periods of 2023.
Furthermore, the bank also requested the preventive seizure of the assets following Ana Hickmann’s declaration. However, the competent judge rejected the request because assets and money are not being wasted. In this case, the precautionary foreclosure would function as a guarantee of payment of the debt, which could be returned in case of payment.
So far Ana and Alexandre are at risk of seizures. This way they would pay their debts with the assets they own, which cannot be returned later.
