The gospel singer Aclécia Silva dos Santos18 years old, died in a car accident on Thursday the 21st. The news was confirmed by the artist’s record label, Kairós Music Oficial, and her boyfriend, Jeremias, on social media.
“The Kairós family is very sad. We didn’t expect this. And for those who don’t know, we met Aclécia through a competition. She won first place. (…) She was a girl of God. She was wasted joy, she exuded love , smile. His surreal talent, his nature, his character”, said the label director in Instagram Stories.
The artist signed a contract with the record label in early November. “We hope this is a new God-ordained moment for your life… You are a gift from God to the Kairós musical family,” she read in the partnership announcement on social media.
Aclécia’s boyfriend also mourned the singer’s death. “I will love you forever, I know I could tell everyone (sic) how much I love you, I’m lost, I love you forever my princess,” he said on Instagram.
According to G1, Aclécia died after a collision between an ambulance and a truck on a highway in Ibirapitanga, Bahia. The singer was in the ambulance with five other people, who were injured and taken to Hospital de Base, in Itabuna.
