Vin Diesel reacts to allegations of sexual assault made by his former assistant

Vin Diesel has categorically denied the allegations of sexual assault which his former assistant, Asta Jonasson, accuses him of in the complaint she filed on December 21 in Los Angeles.

Bryan Freedman, the actor’s lawyer, showed the Hollywood star’s position on the alleged events that occurred in 2010 at a hotel in Atlanta.

“Let me be very clear: Vin Diesel flatly denies it that allegation in its entirety,” he told People in an interview.

“This is the first time you have heard of this allegation in over 13 years from an alleged nine-day employee. There is clear evidence that completely refutes these outlandish accusations.Friedman said.

What is Vin Diesel accused of?

On December 21, Asta Jonasson filed a document in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that the “Fast & Furious” star He touched her, kissed her forcefully and masturbated in front of her in a hotel room in Atlanta, EFE news agency reported.

“Jonasson constantly struggled to free himself from his grasp while repeatedly saying no,” but Vin Diesel ignored the woman’s “non-consent”, the document says.

The lawsuit also describes that, as she found herself unable to escape the situation, she closed her eyes “trying to distance herself and wishing for the assault to end.”
The woman describes the attack as occurring just over a week after she was hired by Diesel and his production company, One Race Productions, to film the fifth film in the popular vehicle franchise, and that a day after the events he was fired for allegedly not responding to the interpreter’s instructions.

In addition to alleging sexual assault, the lawsuit also alleges gender discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation and negligent supervision.
