Operation Verão police officers caught Maykon dos Santos and a friend performing “dangerous maneuvers” with luxury cars in Peruíbe, SP
Military Police seized two luxury cars after the start of a “race” in Peruíbe, on the coast of São Paulo. One of the drivers is influencer Maykon dos Santos Pereira, 28, who was driving a Porsche brand vehicle. He was accompanied by Wanderson Paulo da Silva, who was driving a Camaro. Both had their cars confiscated by the Prime Minister and were fined.
The action was carried out by the teams of the 3rd Company of Operation Verão da PM, who patrolled the Avenida Governador Mário Covas, on the outskirts of the municipality, on the night of last Tuesday 2. Earththe company reported that officers were inspecting the road when they saw vehicles going the wrong way.
Passing alongside the vehicles, the drivers “began a dangerous manoeuvre”, making the approach impossible, the Prime Minister said. The action was seen by police as the start of a ‘racha’, an illegal race on public roads. They were subsequently identified and approached on Avenida Padre Anchieta.
Military police fined Maykon and Wanderson for “dangerous maneuver, using a sudden start” and withdrew the luxury cars. In the Brazilian Highway Code, the infringement appears in article 175, which provides for a fine of R$ 2,934.70.
Maykon spoke out on social media after the incident. “Envy is bullshit,” wrote the influencer, who has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram. On his profile he displays actions in communities, flaunts luxuries and promotes gaming platforms. In his latest posts, he showed cars that he calls “tritrains”, with several trailers carrying motorcycles and boats, towards the coast of Sao Paulo.
