Eteri Tutberidze’s daughter showed her father for the first time

19-year-old Russian figure skater Diana Davis, daughter of the honored Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze, published a new post on her social networks, which everyone is discussing for the second day. The athlete, performing in ice dancing in tandem with figure skater Gleb Smolkin, shared a couple of photos with a man whom she called dad. The girl timed the post to coincide with Father’s Day, which was celebrated almost all over the world last weekend.

Father’s Day, she captioned the picture.

In one shot, Diana is standing with a man in a gray jacket, with “Welcome to Las Vegas” written in the background. It may have been made in Nevada, where the girl was born. In the second photo, a man holds a glass in his hand, and in the background you can see a moored ship. True, the story very quickly disappeared from Diana’s page.

Diana was born on January 16, 2003 in Las Vegas. Judging by the girl’s last name and patronymic, the skater’s father should be called Sergey Davis. Once Eteri Tutberidze admitted that he was an American who did not want to move to Russia.

I never regret the past, – said Eteri. – Diana was born in America, but I knew for sure that we would live in Moscow. We have many friends across the ocean, there is a very comfortable and quiet life. Great people, great relationships. But for me, there is no contrast in this well-being: when there are no difficulties, one cannot understand what happiness is.

Last year, the coach said in an interview that Diana does not have a father.

Well, no, we don’t have a dad. It happens. It seems to me that a woman gives birth to a child for herself. If a man for some reason refuses this story … That’s why I say all the time: Diana has me, and I have Diana.
