Last week, the journalist Marcelo Pereirawho gives the weather forecast in various TV Globo news programs, fell ill and left the station’s headquarters in Sao Paulo in an ambulance.




According to the website “Pop TV”, the accident occurred last Wednesday (03/01). He was preparing to go on air when he started feeling unwell and was taken to hospital by a medical team.

He was replaced, in record time, by Thais Luchesi, another journalist who had performed the same role other times and remained on the program even in the days following the event.

There are no further details…

So far neither the journalist nor the broadcaster have commented on the accident or his state of health. This Monday morning (08/01), the “Hour 1” continued without the journalist’s presence.
