Salma Hayek saddened by ‘They’re Like Children’ co-star’s death: ‘It breaks my heart’

The sudden death of Alec Musser, who is remembered for his performance in “Grown Ups” (“They’re Like Children”)has rocked some of the saga’s cast, including Salma Hayek.

The Mexican actress already spoke after the announcement of the death of the 50-year-old artist on January 13.

Alec Musser died last Saturday at his home in Del Mar, California, the model’s fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed to Deadline, TMZ and Fox News. He did not state the cause of death.

This Monday, January 15, Salma Hayek took to her Instagram account to express her feelings after learning of the loss.

“In memory of Alec Musser. He was so kind, professional and absolutely hilarious,” she wrote along with a quote from the movie Grown Ups in which they both appear.

“His premature departure it breaks my heart“, she admitted the emotion that invades her after the surprising death.

I feel so blessed to know him.. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for this great loss,” he concluded.

Adam Sandler, co-star of the filmwas one of the first of the actor’s colleagues to speak out after the tragedy broke last weekend.

“I loved this boy. I can’t believe it’s gone. “Such a wonderful and funny good man,” he also said on Instagram.

“Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A truly great love of a man,” he said.

The late actor also starred in the legendary American soap opera ‘All My Children’ and made a special appearance in the hit series ‘Desperate Housewives’.

Born in New York, he was very fond of sports and modeled for well-known brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch.
