Virginia Fonseca is diagnosed with ADHD and hyperactivity

Pregnant with her third child, Virginia Fonseca was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her husband, Zé Felipe, made the revelation this Wednesday (31st). Leonardo’s son discovered this a few years ago and is taking medication.

“Anyone who has gone to the doctor and found out they have done it ADHD her too?”, asked Zé, showing Virginia in the black and white images. “And the hyperactivity”, added Maria Alice and Maria Flor’s mother.

ADHD is one of the disorders of neurodevelopment more common in childhood. It is usually first diagnosed in childhood and often persists into adulthood. People with ADHD may have difficulty paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (they may act without thinking about the outcome), or being overly active.

There are three different ways that ADHD presents, depending on what types of symptoms are strongest in the individual:
