Vivi Romanelli faces cancer for the second time: ‘Let’s have another fight’

The presenter revealed the discovery of a new skin cancer after having a mole removed

Last Thursday, 1, the presenter Live Romanelli, 61, shared a video on his Instagram in which he explains his health status and the return of the melanoma (skin cancer) he faced two years ago. She is expected to undergo surgery and treatment for the disease soon. “When you get a diagnosis like this again, the path opens up. But we move forward,” she said.

Vivi explains that she discovered the disease had returned after performing a biopsy on a mole removed from her right arm.

The presenter had already undergone treatment two years ago for a melanoma (skin cancer that manifests itself in melanocytes, cells that produce skin pigment) on her left leg, which according to her was more serious than the second. Vivi must undergo surgery to remove the cancer, which involves scraping the mole and undergoing treatment to eliminate the remaining cancer cells. She warns that she is already documenting the surgery “I have already sent the documents to my oncologist to speed up the process.”

Melanoma, according to data from the National Cancer Institute (Inca), is the most common type of skin cancer in Brazil and represents 30% of diagnoses of malignant tumors registered in the country. Vivi also comments that “it is the deadliest skin cancer” cancer that exists today”, but ends up being positive: “I am a strong woman, warrior, and nothing will happen”.

Internet users expressed affection for her in the comments. “What strength you give us! Receive our love and positivity! Good vibes and faith in God!”, wrote one. “You are protected, heartfelt kisses,” said another.

The presenter’s daughter, Natália Romanelli, commented: “I love you! It already worked!”
