A German princess has made history by being the first aristocrat to pose nude for Playboy magazine. Xenia Florence Gabriela Iris he is a descendant of Frederick Augustus III, the last king of Saxony, a region that today belongs to Germany.
The king died in 1932, but Princess Xenia believes he would have approved of her decision to take part in the photoshoot. “He was described to me as a good-natured and loving person. So he would definitely have approved of it. I feel a special bond with him,” the princess said in an interview with a German newspaper.
As for the living, however, Xenia doesn’t believe other members of the Wettin dynasty were happy with the nude filming. “I would be surprised if they bought a copy [da revista]. But, of course, I hope they at least tolerate it,” the 37-year-old princess said.
In 2011, Xenia even published a biography, titled “Xenia: The Life of a Princess in the 21st Century,” in which she detailed her royal lineage. However, the publication was not accepted by the other members of the dynasty.

Xenia, however, enjoyed the title of princess. She has participated in several reality shows with the fame of her nobility.
