Ana Hickmann AND Alessandro Correa they were charged to court again due to a debt. According to the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, the couple owes around R$800,000 to Daycoval bank and have been given three days to pay off the debt.
In a note sent to the website of journalist Leo Dias, Ana’s team attributed responsibility for the debt to Alexandre. “The defense of Ana Hickmann specifies that she has not yet received any subpoena in relation to the case. A number of debts acquired while Alexandre Correa was responsible for the management of the company are being investigated,” she reads in the notice.
In recent years, Ana’s companies have incurred a series of millions of debts with banks due to unpaid loans. With the Daycoval bank the value is R$735,069.85, but with the addition of legal fees the amount exceeds R$800 thousand. The case concerns Ana, Alexandre and the company Ana Hickmann Serviços Ltda.
According to Folha, judge Paulo Bernardi Baccarat set a deadline of three days starting from Wednesday (07). If the debt is not paid, Ana and Alexandre’s assets will be seized. If they demonstrate an inability to pay the sum, the defense can still propose an embargo on the execution.
