However, before asking the artist, he gave a speech and talked about obesity. “You are making a revolution at Carnival. And with free body. This is very important for us. We need this representation. I was an obese man, so I know how important it is for us to accept ourselves, as ourselves, and the message you send it’s very important,” he said.

The episode attracted the attention of Internet users, who accused the journalist of defining Paolla as obese.



After the negative backlash, in the early hours of Thursday the 15th, the comedian spoke about the incident and apologized on his Instagram.

In the publication, the influencer asks the actress for forgiveness and underlines: “Paolla Oliveira is not obese. She is a standard, thin, slender woman”.

Pahby also explained his speech, claiming that he thanked Paolla for raising the issue of free bodies. “I, as a former obese and bariatric patient, had no Paolla Oliveira to talk to about self-acceptance,” she said.

The actress has not commented on the incident.
