The actress returns on Saturday 17th for the Parade of Champions; Grande Rio renewed with the queen of drums for the 2025 carnival

The actress Paolla Oliveira continues to reap the benefits of her emblematic interpretation in Sapucaí, in the Grande Rio parade, on the 11th, which had as its theme the myth of the creation of the jaguar. In an interview with the O Globo website published on Friday 16th, the drum queen commented on the feline outfit with LED lights that she has become popular on the web.

“The breathing was calm. It was hard to find myself. It was very stuffy and there was still an LED light in my eyes. When it went down, I could see a little bit, just to locate myself,” he said.

The actress explained that she was warned about the difficulties with the costume. “When I decide to do something, the difficulty is less than the desire to succeed.”

Paolla also spoke about the support she received from her boyfriend, singer Diogo Nogueira, after the show. “He called me excited, saying that he was beautiful and that I was a really brave jaguar,” she says.

The actress’s carnival inspiration has a history with the Rio Carnival. “Not long ago, I heard the story Eloina dos Leopardosbeautiful transvestite, recognized as the first queen of the carnival, who has this transgressor, to accept all bodies”, he said.

Grande Rio placed third in the Rio Carnival, behind Viradouro and Imperatriz Leopoldinense. The three schools will parade on Saturday 17th together with Vila Isabel, Portela and Salgueiro.
