In 2021, Antonia Mayer, the eldest daughter of Issabela Camil and Sergio Mayer, started her career as an actress in the movie “Soy Tu Fan”, which was released a year later. Now, the 17-year-old is making her debut in the world of soap opera, a genre in which her parents have left their mark.

The young lady is part of the cast of Juan Osorio’s new melodrama Love Has No Recipe, starring Claudia Martin and Daniel Elbittar, a story that will premiere in Mexico on February 19.

In this project, Mayer will play the best friend of Gala, a role played by Isabella Tena, and her character will have touches of evil.

Although she has already started to carve out her career in the world of entertainment following in her parents’ footsteps, she is still not sure if this is her true calling, so she cannot rule out devoting herself to something else in the future.

” I think it’s too early to decide. because people change all the time so I couldn’t say yes because tomorrow I could tell you the truth is no I want to be a doctor so I think I still I’m too young to decide if I want to commit to this for the rest of my life.» said the actress to TVyNovelas magazine at the official presentation of El Amor No Hace Receta.

At present, Antonia is devoted to the work of Juan Osorio and noted that “Where life takes us and what needs to happen”.

In mid-November 2023, Issabela Camil’s firstborn confirmed her involvement in the story and revealed that she auditioned for the role.

“I did the casting and yes, they marked me and said you have the part (…) It was like everything was very sudden, it was very emotional, a lot of feelings of fear, nerves, happiness, emotions, so it was a lot of emotions at the same time, but now we are good” , he said in an interview with journalist Eden Dorantes.

However, it was on December 6 when the production of Juan Osorio made the official announcement and welcomed the soap opera via Instagram.

In addition to Antonia, Issabela Camil and Sergio Mayer have another daughter, Victoria, 12 years old.

For his part, the actor has an older son, Sergio Mayer Mori, who he had during his relationship with actress Bárbara Mori. The 26-year-old has already given him a granddaughter, Mila.
