Preta Gil has told what was the “final straw” that made her end her marriage to fitness instructor Rodrigo Godoy. In an interview with “Falas Femininas”, a TV Globo program which will be broadcast on March 8, the singer recalled the crucial moments for the end of the relationship.

“He didn’t sleep at home that night, my blood pressure was 24, and I decided to separate. I don’t need to live through something like that, I don’t want to live through it,” Preta said.

Preta also took the opportunity to give advice to other women who may be in similar situations in their relationships.

Remember the relationship

The marriage of Preta Gil and Rodrigo Godoy ended in early 2023. The couple had already been together for nine years. At the time, SBT’s program Fofocalizando reported that the relationship had ended due to the personal trainer’s betrayal of Preta’s fashionable girlfriend, Ingrid Lima.

She, who was being treated for bowel cancer, then went public, calling the two “cruel, cold, Machiavellian and dirty”. After the case came to light, Rodrigo and Ingrid came out and asked Preta to delete the posts.
