Last Sunday, the pop singer, considered the last modern vocal diva, took to social media to nostalgic and share with subscribers the rarest video from the family archive. In the frame, little Ariana, dressed in a black suit, a white short-sleeved shirt and white knee-highs, touches the operator with an existential question about herself.
Do you think I’m Peter Pan or something? she asked, referring to a character who would never grow up.
Note that the two-time Grammy winner, in a sense, turned out to be right, comparing herself with the hero of a famous fairy tale. The singer is already 29 years old, but she still looks like a very young schoolgirl. And still wears headbands, just like in this video from childhood.
Recall that Ariana Grande released her latest album called “Positions” in October 2020. And last year, the singer presented two singles at once – “POV” and “Save Your Tears (Remix)” together with The Weeknd. The latter topped the Billboard Hot 100 in its first week.
Without leaving music, Ariana is also developing her acting career. The superstar will play the witch Glinda in the upcoming film Wicked, and will be co-starring with actress and singer Cynthia Erivo.
