Belinda has been admitted to hospital in an emergency condition, it was announced in the early hours of this Thursday, March 21.
Through the singer’s Instagram Stories, a statement was released, signed by JoyMusic Entertainment, explaining what happened.
“Due to a health problem, according to the instructions of her doctor, she had to be hospitalized,” says the letter, which does not specify the difficulty the actress is also going through.
The aforementioned company stated that, due to this situation, it will not perform the concert scheduled for Friday, March 22 in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz (Mexico).
Belinda is texting
Minutes after what happened to Belinda was revealed, a photo was posted on the same platform showing her lying in a hospital bed.
In the picture you can see the hand of the interpreter “Sapito”, which has a catheter in place and hugs a teddy bear.
“Health should always be the most important thing,” is written above the postcard, which includes three sad emojis.
Was Belinda sick?
On March 1, the aforementioned record label also revealed that the artist was experiencing health complications.
“We would like to inform you that, due to a medical prescription, Belinda will not be able to participate in the Bésame Mucho Festival as planned,” they announced.
“(Their) health is our main concern and we are following the recommendations of medical professionals,” they said.
Before the announcement, on February 29, she was present at the Central de Abastos of the Iztapalapa mayor’s office in Mexico City, inaugurating a mural in her honor.
