In the midst of this difficult time that the family is going through, Valentina expressed that there are aspects that she still cannot understand and that she probably never will after the sudden departure of her eldest son.
However, despite the pain, “his heart and soul find peace knowing that Mateo left happy and fulfilled, fulfilling his greatest dream.”

Valentina expressed confidence that Matteo will continue to guide them with “strength and calmness” as they walk this difficult path. As an “incredible being of light and love,” her son made the decision “to give the gift of life after his departure.”
Valentina shared that they are in the process of donating Mateo’s organs and that “more than 15 people will receive the gift of life.”
Valentina reached out to the people who, through calls and messages, provided support to her family after Mateo’s accident on March 20.
“I’ve read all the messages, but I still don’t know what to say. I just want you to know that we feel you very close to our hearts,” she wrote.
She appreciated the companionship from a distance and the unconditional love they have expressed to her, her husband Homer and her youngest son Jero.
Valentina asked for patience and expressed her love, sharing that they are taking it one day at a time. He also promised to let you know what’s next as soon as he has more information.
