In a touching gesture of solidarity, the Bishop delivers donations and spiritual comfort to children suffering from cancer in Brasilia
Normally the birthday is marked by celebrations and gifts, but for Mons. Bruno Leonardo this year the date has taken on an even deeper meaning. In a gesture of compassion and altruism, the religious leader chose to spend his birthday at the Brasilia Children’s Hospital, offering not only prayers and emotional comfort, but also a generous donation to assist in the care and support of children suffering from cancer.
The visit began early, with Monsignor Bruno Leonardo walking through the hospital corridors and stopping in front of each bed to pray and talk to the children and their families. Bruno Leonardo made a large donation of 250 thousand reais to HUG, an institution that provides vital care to children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment. Founded in 1986, ABRACE is recognized for its work in finding a cure and improving the quality of life of patients.
