The influencer thanked an anonymous donor for his bone marrow, describing the gesture as a second chance at life after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia

Fabiana Justus, influencer and daughter of entrepreneur Roberto Justus, received a 100% compatible bone marrow donation from an anonymous donor.

At age 37, Fabiana was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in January, after an emergency room visit for back pain and fever. On Wednesday the 27th she shared the news of her donation on her social networks, expressing gratitude for the gesture which she described as a second chance at life.

“Dear donor, we still cannot know each other or know who we are, but I already respect you so much! You donated your marrow without knowing to whom. Without asking for anything in return. You only knew that I was an adult and that I needed it urgently. And you didn’t hesitated. You went there, did the necessary tests and donated. And with this you are giving me my second chance! You are giving me my life back,” he said.

“And even though I can’t thank you personally, I thank God! Wonderful God who has given me so many blessings in life and today he also gave me this. A 100% compatible donor with me, my marrow “twin”! I will remain eternally grateful” , he wrote.

After the diagnosis, the influencer began chemotherapy treatment, requiring hospitalization for the first cycle, which lasted a month. She underlined the importance of the donation, thanking the anonymous donor and mentioning 100% compatibility as fundamental to the success of the treatment. There are still steps to complete in the recovery process, including adjusting to the new bone marrow and a period of isolation and medical monitoring.
