Maria Watanabe criticizes her friends who left after a serious accusation and comments on the influencer’s cold relationship with her family
Almost four months after PC Siqueira’s death, his girlfriend, Maria Watanabe, has decided to break her silence. You spoke to Raul Ferreira Netto, son of the late presenter Ferreira Netto, on the podcast ‘Sem Limites’. (See an excerpt at the end of the text.)
He said the YouTuber suffered from serious emotional problems. He lived on prescription drugs. “If he were absent, he would go into a psychotic episode.” On the fateful Wednesday 27 December last year the two had a fixed appointment with a psychiatrist. They didn’t even leave the house.
“He turned around and said ‘Maria, it will be today.’ She was with a look I already knew. When he told me, I think it was goodbye,” she says. Subsequently, according to the report, the PC carried out a “cadence of movements” in the apartment.
When she realized it, Maria was already holding the limp body after the hanging. “The last thing I said to him was ‘I love you’.” The influencer was 37 years old. Three days after the tragedy, his girlfriend turned 28.
A pioneer among vlog creators in Brazil, PC was fighting to recover the status and money he lost following an accusation of sharing pornographic photos of a six-year-old boy. Although police found no evidence to charge him with pedophilia, the former MTV star continued to suffer from stigma.
“I don’t forgive any of his friends. Absolutely no one,” Maria said, commenting on the departure of anonymous famous people who did not want their public image to be associated with the disgraced influencer.
He confirmed that he had broken up with PC two days before the dramatic event. But he remained by her side. “We lived together, we had three pets, a family, a life.”
In the conversation, Maria lamented the distant relationship between PC – Paulo Cezar Goulart Siqueira – and her family. She said her mother suffers from a neurological disease and her father struggles with alcoholism.
He also stated that the YouTuber complained that he had not been able to contact his only brother, the journalist and psychoanalyst Beto Siqueira, who was absent at the wake and burial, due to an old disagreement.
