Celebrities take advantage of their fame to help people who are going through the biggest disaster in the history of Rio Grande do Sul.
OR Rio Grande do Sul is in a state of public calamity since last Wednesday (1) due to the torrential rains that hit the state. According to governor Eduardo Leite, it is already “the biggest disaster in the history of Rio Grande do Sul”. To date, 39 have been confirmed dead, 68 missing and 74 injured.
Many celebrities are using their fame to get help for people suffering due to rains in the state. Among them are several celebrities who were born in Rio Grande do Sul and try to find a way to help those in need in their home state.
Xuxa used his Instagram stories to share the PIX of the Rio Grande do Sul government’s donation channel, aimed at raising funds for humanitarian support for the victims.
The Gaucho Luisa Sonza posted several videos of the Rio Grande do Sul tragedy on his Instagram feed. “Guys, the situation in my state, Rio Grande do Sul, is very sad and complicated. They are experiencing the greatest catastrophe in history and they need us” she wrote. Sonza also shared several videos and information in her stories.
