Just hours before performing one of the biggest shows of his career, Madonna65 years old, he teased his fans with a post on social media.

A Queen of pop shared a video of him dancing with the Brazilian flag. “Are you ready?”, she wrote, in a post published on her Instagram profile, this Saturday 4.

Madonna has been in Brazil since Monday 29th. Staying at the Copacabana Palace, she and her team occupy 90 suites in the luxury hotel. The reason for her visit is the end of her tour, The Celebration, which celebrates 40 years of her career.

In recent days she has been seen rehearsing on the large stage on the shore of Copacabana beach. Big names in Brazilian music, such as Pabllo Vittar and Anitta, with whom Madonna has a song, are confirmed as attractions of the show.

Multishow and Globoplay begin coverage at 9.30pm. For those who prefer to watch online, Globoplay will make the event available for free even to non-subscribers, requiring only login to the platform. TV Globo will start broadcasting the show immediately after the telenovela “Renascer”.

Kenya Sade and Marcos Mion will host the broadcast on TV Globo, while Marcus Majella, Laura Vicente and Gui Guedes will be the hosts of Multishow and Globoplay. The show, which chronicles the pop star’s career in seven acts, is scheduled to begin at 9:45 pm, but it’s worth noting that Madonna has delayed several performances during the tour.

The repertoire will include iconic hits such as “Like a Virgin” and “Music”, as well as performances of songs rarely heard live, such as “Nothing Really Matters”, “Erotica” and “Justify My Love”.

The event, which also celebrates the centenary of the sponsor, Banco Itaú, has an estimated budget of R$60 million, including a share of R$17 million for Madonna. Sponsorships include contributions of R$10 million from Rio City Hall and R$10 million from the state government.
