Ashley Graham arrives at the 2024 Met Gala in New York looking sensational in a floral corset dress and admits Live From E! host Ross Matthews who can barely breathe!
Ashley Graham it was amazing at the 2024 Met Gala and joined a powerful team of celebrities, like J-LoAriana Grande, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian and Bruna Marquezine – that she was a real princess. For the special event, the plus-size model arrived in a black dress with a tight corset and crystal floral decorations created by Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
“It took over 500 hours,” Ashley told Live From E!’s Ross Mathews. “Handmade – all these little crystals. It’s all mesh. It’s crazy what he and his team did,” she said. Ashley also wore an up-do, fine silver jewelry, and a matching black shawl, but the dress itself was enough to take everyone’s breath away, including her. “I can barely breathe, the organs have been moved together, as you can see, this is not my normal life,” she said.

On social media he also provided more details about his look. “What a fascinating Met!” she wrote in a May 6 post. “A HUGE thank you to @ludovicdesaintsernin and his team for their amazing dedication and craftsmanship. This dress is a true work of art, every piece of metal and Swarovski crystal has been meticulously placed by hand; 500 hours of handwork went into necessary to make this extraordinary dress,” he said.
And although she’s already walked around the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the model’s night has just begun – as she shared, she’ll be interviewing other red carpet arrivals…
