Mitico, from Poppah, responds to requests for help from Nego’s RS Di: ‘I’m only sorry for you’

The host clarified what the vehicle is doing to support the cause, but made it clear that he doesn’t owe the former BBB any satisfaction

Mitico informed what he and Igão, the second host of the podcast, are doing to help the cause, but made it clear that he does not owe Nego Di any satisfaction. “While I don’t owe you any satisfaction for what I do or don’t do, I will tell you what we are doing to help RS. Friday morning we posted information on our Instagram feed, which has 8 million followers, for people to donate money and supplies. There are both government and other NGOs that people can choose how to donate, the post has been there since Friday and it hasn’t been archived as you say… but it’s okay, we just pinned it up,” he began.

“Also on Friday we made a donation directly from Poppah’s account through a sector that we have here called Podpah Social, which was created specifically to respond to situations like the one that is happening there in RS. We had already donated to the north coast of SP early last year, and also to the river earlier this year, which was really beautiful there too. Also on Friday was the Podpah episode with Davi from BBB at night. Right at the beginning of the episode we called people to donate, saying that Podpah had already donated,” Mitico explained.

He added, “And to top it off, we will be doing a 3-hour live stream from Podpah on Tuesday, which will be performed by the band Fresno and which will receive an award from an artist, musician, all to raise money for RS.”

The presenter also congratulated Nego Di’s attitude in helping on the “front line”, but harshly criticized the accusations.

“I just feel sorry for you that even in the midst of tragedy, in the midst of so much pain, you have the time and concern to spread hate. I’m just sorry for you. You look good there, man,” Mitico commented.

Floods in the South

The federal government has recognized the state of public disaster for 336 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul this Sunday, 5th, due to heavy rains in the region. According to the latest Civil Protection bulletin, released on Tuesday 7th at 6pm, the number of victims recorded due to the floods in the state has risen to 95.

To date, 131 people are missing and 1,443,950 people have been affected by the disaster in 401 municipalities. Of these, 48,799 are in shelters, 159,036 are homeless and 372 are injured.
