All of Brazil is mobilizing to help victims of the rain tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul, which has already left 90 people dead and thousands homeless. Many people do this by donating supplies, sharing information, or providing financial assistance trying to help in some way. Various celebrities have joined this trend and they are also contributing. Some of them decided to go further and went to Rio Grande do Sul to help those in need directly in the state. Find out who the celebrities who traveled are:
Peter Scooby He was one of the first celebrities to travel directly to Rio Grande do Sul to help the victims. The surfer has gathered a group of friends for a rescue mission. They traveled by car to the accident site and, from there, went on jet skis to rescue people who were in the water. The group led by Scooby works tirelessly and still doesn’t know when he will leave again. They also took jet skis, life jackets and supplies to help with donations.
Former BBB Lucas Chumbo is also a surfer and friend of Pedro Scooby. He traveled with Scooby to save flood victims. In addition to Lucas Chumbo and Pedro Scooby, the group includes other professional surfers, such as Iankel Noronha, Michelle Bouillons, Fabiano Tissot, Will Santana, Felipe Cesarano, Alemão de Maresias and Ian Cosenza.
