La Adictiva member remembers daughter with heartbreaking photo of urn for her ashes

Martín Rodríguez, trombonist of the band La Adictiva, continues to mourn the death of his young daughter Alinha, who died on May 28 at the age of 7 from complications from the Alagille syndrome she suffered from.

The musician remembered her with a touching photo of her ashes without adding any message, just a few emojis. For her part, Diana Osuna, the girl’s mother, did the same.

It was on May 28 that the girl’s death was announced on her Instagram account.

“It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of our daughter. Thank you for giving us the most beautiful months of our lives,” he writes at the beginning.

“I’m not gone, I’m still here by your side alone in a different way, look for me in your heart and there you’ll find me in the love that will live forever, in those moments when you feel alone look inside your thoughts and there you’ll find me in those sweet memories that remain strong, look for me in heaven and there you will see me smiling from God’s glorious heaven Thanks for all your support.

On Alinha’s Instagram account, her parents showed the little girl in the hospital and said how difficult it was to see her connected to the devices. In addition, they used the medium to ask for prayers for their health.

What is Alagille syndrome?

According to the American Liver Foundation, Alagille syndrome “is a genetic condition that causes narrow, malformed bile ducts in the liver. Bile that cannot flow through the malformed ducts builds up in the liver and causes scarring. Scar tissue blocks the liver from functioning properly to remove waste from the bloodstream.”
