Luan Santana is resting at home after feeling ill before the show, updates notice

The state of health has worried fans, who were surprised by the cancellation of a show that would have taken place yesterday

The country singer Luan Santana he is at absolute rest in his home, in Alphaville, in São Paulo, according to his press office updated on Sunday 2. The artist had an illness which led him to cancel a show that he would have given in Divinópolis, in Minas Gerais, on Saturday 1.

According to Luan’s consultants, he had already felt “unwell and feverish” on Tuesday 28th, when he underwent a medical examination at the Albert Einstein hospital. The singer was assisted by the doctor Caio Godoy Rodrigues, who advised him to immediately suspend all activities to remain in complete rest.

However, Luan would not have followed the medical recommendation so as not to affect the shows already scheduled. He performed in Lages (SC), Wednesday (29th), and in Votorantim (SP), Thursday (30th). But on Saturday 1 June he went to Divinópolis (MG), where upon landing at the local airport he felt ill again.

In a note released yesterday by the Divinópolis Rural Union, responsible for organizing the event in which Luan was to perform, we read that the artist had a sudden illness and needed immediate hospitalization.

The union said it was “as surprised as the public, since everything was ready to receive him. In fact, the singer’s entire team was already present at the Divinaexpo headquarters”.
