María, Paula and José Emilio, children of the deceased Mariana Levy, could soon finally receive the inheritance their mother left them when she died.
It was in April 2005 that the actress died of cardiac arrest, aged 39, when she realized that armed men were closing in on her and her family on a boulevard in Mexico City.
Since then, due to various circumstances, including the beneficiaries not being of legal age, the assets left behind by the artist could not be delivered.
In July of last year, José Emilio revealed to “Ventaneando” that the trial on this issue was in the third stage, adjudication, but that distribution was still missing.
Mariana Levy’s children will receive their inheritance ‘soon’
Now, Carolina Capilla, who was the executor of the late Mariana Levy’s estate during this time, has revealed that María, Paula and José Emilio are closing in on getting her.
“We are nowhere near, soon you will be able to receive your parts,” he said in statements obtained on June 19 by Hola!
The person who was a very close friend of the star of ‘The Dreaming Pica’ expressed her happiness when she remembered that young people call her ‘aunty’.
“They are my children,” he declared without elaborating on what date they will likely be given what belongs to them.
According to the media, the interpreter’s estate included three properties, of which only one house would remain in Cuernavaca, Morelos (Mexico).
Regarding this residence, in June 2023, José Emilio assured that his father, José María Fernández “El Pirru”, was in debt for maintenance costs.
For her part, before her death, Talina Fernández, Mariana’s mother, acknowledged the work done by Capilla as responsible for enforcing the star’s last will.
“He has to make ropes and motorbikes,” he proudly told “Ventaneando” a year ago, in May.
Mariana Levy’s children are reunited
After the problems that existed between them, precisely because of their mother’s inheritance, María, José Emilio and Paula were recently reunited.
The trio attended the funeral of their uncle ‘Pato’ Levy, who passed away in the early hours of June 10th as a result of ailments that plagued him.
“Somehow being with family always warms the heart, but it’s a very sad day,” Paula said in a media interview. “It will be nice,” he added, referring to meeting his brothers.
