In February this year, the singer was admitted to Hospital do Rim, in Sao Paulo, with the diagnosis of polycystic kidney disease. He even prepared for a transplant; his wife, Key Vieira, 54, would be the donor. However, the surgery has been postponed until later this year.

The country singer, 67, was married to the influencer, with whom he had two children. In addition to João Pedro Vieira, 22, and Lia Vieira, 12, Chrystian also left behind five children from other relationships.
