King Charles III’s sister Princess Anne is in hospital as a precaution after suffering minor injuries and concussion following an “incident” at her home in Gatcombe Park, western England.
According to Buckingham Palace in a statement, “The Princess Royal suffered minor injuries and concussion following an incident at Gatcombe Park Estate yesterday evening. “Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for monitoring and is expected to make a full and speedy recovery.”

Princess Anne suffered the accident while in the protected perimeter of the Gatcombe Park estate, CNN reports citing a royal source.
The cause of her injuries has not been released, however the princess’ medical team said the blows she suffered to the head are consistent with “possible impact with the head or legs of a horse”.
