Princess Anne, daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and sister of King Charles III, was admitted to hospital this Sunday (23) after suffering an accident while riding a horse. The information was confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
Various British tabloids report that Anne has suffered a head injury or brain injury. The incident occurred at Gatcombe Park Palace, the princess’s private country residence.. The official statement from the monarchy, however, guarantees that only “minor injuries” occurred and that the woman is hospitalized only for observation.
It is worth mentioning that Annie’s accident occurs at a time when the health of members of the royal family has caused concern in the subjects. Kate Middleton and King Charles III have been undergoing cancer treatment since the beginning of the year.
