New details have been released about the murder of presenter and influencer Paola Salcedo, who was 29 years old.
This Monday, July 1, authorities from the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico confirmed the death of the sister of Mexican soccer player Carlos Salcedo, reported El Universal.
Authorities from the Huixquilucan City Council reported that the communicator was attacked around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, while she was outside a circus.
For his part, journalist Carlos Jiménez revealed to X that they allegedly “shot her in front of her son to attack her.”
Paola Salcedo would have ‘two gunshot wounds’
Within hours of this happening, Antonio Nieto, a partner at N+, shared some alleged details based on “what early investigations show.”
“According to her assistant, Mariela ‘N’, Paola had left the Bardum circus, on the Río Hondo highway, where they had gone with their family,” he explained to the aforementioned social network.
“While he was in his truck, in the circus parking lot, in a white Tahoe, 2 suspects on a motorcycle shot him multiple times,” he added.
The reporter noted that the driver reportedly “suffered two gunshot wounds” and that “four others remained” in the vehicle.
“A man put Paola in his own vehicle and headed to Angeles Hospital, but on the way he found municipal police officers in a patrol car and asked them to make way for him during the journey,” he said.
Salcedo would die “on arrival” at the clinic, “where the Public Ministry” of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico was notified.
Was Paola Salcedo murdered by ‘direct attack’?
As for what Paola Salcedo’s personal life would be, Antonio Nieto revealed that she was “supposedly in a relationship with a man who lives in Interlomas”, who is unknown if he accompanied her on that fateful night.
In addition, the columnist claimed that in previous years she had broken off her relationship with her famous brother, Carlos Salcedo.
“They had disputes over extortion issues, in which their father, Carlos Salcedo Sr., was also involved,” he explained.
On the motive for the murder, he noted: “So far everything points to a direct attack, but investigations have barely begun.”
Nieto claimed that Paola “lived in Guadalajara” but that she “travelled constantly” to Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
