Everything has begun when a Vanessa Lopes fan criticized Fernanda Torres’ choice to live the the iconic Odete Roitman in a presumed remake of “Vale Tudo”1988 soap opera. The admirer then suggested that the former BBB member was the most suitable person for the role, questioning the actress’s number of followers and the calling nepobaby, son of a famous or successful father, whose success may be linked to his family ties.
“This woman doesn’t even have 1 million followers. What a shame. Vanessa Lopes would be a much better Odete Roitman. And then Globo goes there and calls a stranger and a nepobaby,” the alleged fan club fired.

In light of the controversy, Vanessa Lopes spoke out, ruling out that the person who criticized Fernanda Torres was from her fan club.
“I want to clarify that the profile that was published is not my fan club, nor is it known by me and my team. In fact, it is a profile that has been creating posts with this tone of unfounded comparisons linked to my name for some time, comparisons that I do not agree with,” Vanessa explained.
