On June 17, influencer Derek Trejo’s mother was found dead in a hotel room in Mexico City.
15 days later, on July 2, the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office announced that it had arrested a man who would be the alleged killer of Veronica de la Rosa.
The agency said in a statement that the suspect is Saúl ‘N’ and that he was arrested in the office of the mayor of Iztapalapa.
For his part, the content creator was happy with the arrest: “Thank God justice has been served for my mother,” he wrote on X.
Now, the alleged perpetrator of the homicide will undergo a legal process to determine whether he is guilty or not.

After the arrest of the alleged femicide of Derek Trejo’s mother became known, journalist Antonio Nieto revealed details of the investigation.
In messages published this Tuesday on the aforementioned digital platform, the N+ collaborator claimed that Saúl ‘N’ would have “connected” Verónica de la Rosa “with poetry and music.”
