Last Wednesday (07/03), the singer of the pagodas Mumuzinho recorded his latest DVD, in the capital of São Paulo. However, he revealed a not so happy side of this project: he was ignored by some artists.
In an interview with the LeoDias portal behind the scenes of the event, he commented that when he invited some artists to be part of the recording, he was completely ignored: “There were guests I called and they didn’t even answer me, Leo. People I called, who I thought were affectionate towards me and there was no point in attending, I couldn’t… I was sad, but today I am full of friends, people who like my work. Thiago cancelled his commitments, even Michelle… And those who didn’t come will regret it!”start.
And he continued: “This ‘no’ helped me a lot to know myself… this year I was able to see who my true friends are. Because when we admire someone and we are part of them, in their career [da pessoa]we see everything and ask for a nice project like this and the person, he says, doesn’t want to participate, it’s sad”
“On the other hand I am happy, my friends who take care of me will see it. And can I talk? It depends on the guests. What we did here today, we rarely see today in Brazil, in samba. Now it’s about knowing who is a true friend or not.“, he concluded.
