Benji Gregorychild star of the iconic 1980s show “ALF”, died June 13his sister confirmed.
The actor who played Brian Tanner in the series was he was found dead in his car parked at Chase Bank in Peoria, Arizona, TMZ reported.
The Maricopa County Coroner’s Office reportedly said that “Benji’s cause of death is still pending”.

Rebecca Gregory told TMZ that her brother was in pain “depression, bipolar disorder and I had a sleep disorder”.

People close to the actor believe that on June 12, Benji went to the bank to “deposit a check” and “slept in his car and died tragically of heat stroke vehicle due to the intense heat of the Arizona summer,” TMZ reports regarding his relatives’ statements.
The actor was not alone, He was accompanied by his pug dog, Hans, who also died..
Speaking to TMZ, Rebecca thanked her family for their support as they go through difficult times.
Who was Benji Gregory?
His real name was Benjamin Gregory Hertzberg, he was born on May 26, 1978 in Los Angeles, California.
In addition to his participation in “ALF”, where he played Brian, the youngest of the Tanner family, Gregory appeared in several other television series such as “Fantastic Max”, “Pound Puppies”, “Murphy Brown”, “Fantasy Island”, “The A-Team,” “TJ Hooker,” “Amazing Stories,” “The Twilight Zone” and “Mr. Boogedy”.
He also made an appearance in the film ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’ and also voiced the character Edgar the Mole in the animated film ‘Once Upon a Forest’ in 1993.
After his acting career, Gregory joined the United States Navy in 2003 and graduated as an aeronautical meteorologist. However, in 2005 he received an honorable medical discharge.
