Firerose has described her seven-month marriage to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus as like a warzone while issuing a direct warning to Elizabeth Hurley.
The 38-year-old singer claimed she was subjected to emotional and verbal abuse throughout their brief union, cautioning the 61-year-old British actress that "narcissists never change."
Her public warning comes after Hurley sparked widespread engagement rumours last month by sharing an Instagram photograph of herself wearing a prominent diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Reflecting on the relationship in a new interview, Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodge, said the pair first became involved romantically in 2019. The singer moved onto Cyrus's farm property in 2020, where she noted conditions were initially positive before deteriorating dramatically after their wedding in 2023.
Firerose claimed she spent much of their seven-month marriage "walking on eggshells" as Cyrus attempted to control her daily life. She alleged that the musician prevented her from seeing her personal friends and refused to allow her to have a car.

Allegations of rage and control
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Firerose detailed the volatile environment she claims existed behind closed doors during their time together on his farm.
"I wish that every person who is being ensnared by a narcissist could save themselves, because I wouldn’t wish that on anybody, being in a relationship with Billy was like going through some kind of war," she told the publication.
Firerose added: "I could just look at him in a way he would perceive to be wrong and it would trigger his rage, he would be screaming vile insults and verbally abusing me and calling me the most horrible things I’ve ever heard."
She alleged that Cyrus would shower her with love and affection the following day, prompting her to attempt to "mould herself" into an individual she believed he wanted her to be in an effort to keep the peace.

Bitter breakup and mutual accusations
The couple's marriage came to an abrupt end in May 2024 when Cyrus filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences alongside inappropriate marital conduct. The split rapidly descended into an acrimonious and highly public legal battle, with both parties levelling allegations of emotional and verbal mistreatment against one another.
Court filings from the divorce proceedings reveal that Firerose walked away from the marriage with zero dollars from her former spouse. During the fallout, Cyrus also secured a restraining order against her aimed at blocking unauthorised use of his credit cards and bank accounts.
Cyrus, 65, has vehemently rejected all accusations of emotional abuse, previously insisting that he was the person who suffered verbal abuse during their time together. His divorce was formally finalised in August, after which his legal representatives announced he was relieved to put the episode behind him.
In a formal statement distributed through his attorneys at the conclusion of the case, Cyrus described the relationship as an orchestrated deception.
"This has been absolutely the most crazy insane scam I have ever heard of," Cyrus said. "Let alone the fact I'm right in the center and basically the target of the scheme. It's unfortunate it played out this way. Not only was it a web of lies that put me in physical danger, it was a matter of the heart. Love is blind, that's for sure."

Decade-long friendship on television set
The relationship between Cyrus and Firerose originally traces back more than ten years to the television set of the Disney Channel hit comedy series Hannah Montana. The show, which made Cyrus's daughter Miley Cyrus an international teenage superstar, featured Cyrus in the co-starring role of her fictional father and manager, Robby Ray Stewart.
At the time of their initial meeting on the television set, Cyrus was still married to his longtime wife, Tish Cyrus. After remaining distant acquaintances for years, Firerose and Cyrus reconnected during the coronavirus pandemic before entering a relationship that culminated in their October 2023 nuptials.
Cyrus is widely known across the music industry for his 1992 country smash Achy Breaky Heart, while Hurley has built a successful career spanning decades as a model and Hollywood actress. Representatives for Cyrus have been approached for comment regarding Firerose's latest remarks.
