Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva confirmed this Tuesday that their five-year relationship has ended, after months of speculation that was fueled in June by rumors of the soap opera heartthrob’s romance with Cecilia Galliano.
The actors announced the news through a statement on Instagram: “With deep respect and affection, we want to inform you that after many years of love, support and dedication, we have made the decision to end our relationship.”
“They were years of learning and experiences that will stay with both of us and for which we will always be grateful.”
Regarding the reasons for their separation, they stated that they “will remain in our inner circle”.
Gabriel and Irina: their romance began and ended with controversy
The actors met in 2016 when they starred in “Vino el amor”, a soap opera that you can watch on ViX. However, love would have arisen between them in a project they shared after the melodrama, the play “Why Men Love Taxis…”.
According to statements given by Irina to Yordi Rosado in 2021, they fell in love when Gabriel was already divorcing Geraldine Bazán, so there was never any infidelity.
