Rayssa Leal said that the skateboarding competitions will start this Saturday (27) and those who will compete within two days of the opening have been advised not to participate as it is a very strenuous event.
“I wish I could do that in the future, right? To have the chance to wave the flag, carry the flag, that would be awesome!” said the athlete, who was “forgotten” on the training route last week.
Through social media, many Brazilians were proud of Rayssa Leal’s maturity in preparing her presentation, even though she really wanted to celebrate this historic moment in her life as an athlete.
“If they thought like that about football, HEXA WOULD HAVE ALREADY ARRIVED, but what the boys like is Gandaia,” one person said. “I’m glad you didn’t go, if it was boring on TV, imagine that,” another joked. “The fairy is beautiful, totally focused. Above them Rayssa,” another said, in the crowd.
