Each new portrait of modern monarchs is widely discussed not only in these countries, but also abroad. And not all such photos are timed to some significant event. So, for example, the Swedish royal family shared a wonderful summer shot. Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, along with their sons – 6-year-old Alexander, Gabriel, who will turn five in August, and one-year-old Julian – pose on a green lawn and look absolutely happy.

Recall that Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist met in 2009 at a nightclub, but started dating a little later – a year later. But in the summer of 2014, the prince made a marriage proposal to Sofia, after which the Swedish monarchs finally accepted her into their family.
