The long-awaited party for Rafaella Justus’s 15th birthday will take place this Friday (30).. Andrea Guimarães, party organizer, promised a structure for film screenings, never seen before in Brazil. But it is not the first time that a”nepobaby” mobilizes both the public and the press.
On January 28, 1998, Sandy, already famous at the national level as a couple with her brother Júnior, gathered 550 guests at the Hípica de Campinas to celebrate her fifteenth birthday, with an atmosphere and decoration inspired by the classic “Romeo and Juliet”.
The event received a huge media coverage, something unimaginable for the very discreet standards of the artist these days. The party became a special on the program “Vida de Artista”, on CNT, with photographers and journalists from Caras magazine covering the place and some flashes were also shown on “Domingo Legal”, on SBT.
Sandy made her entrance with the song “Se Uma Estrela Aparer”, from the film “Pinocchio”, performed by the Campinas Symphony Orchestra. For the opening and the waltz, the star wore classic dresses, designed by Ronaldo Ésper, a renowned wedding dress designer of the time. She completed the look with Versace jewelry, gifts from her father, Xororó.
The party was attended by many famous guests from the country scene, such as Daniel and Sula Miranda. Zezé Di Camargo took her eldest daughter, Wanessa, who two years later debuted as a pop singer and was compared to Sandy.
