Italian ‘David and Victoria Beckham’ Francesco Totti and Ilari Blasi split after 17 years of marriage

Loud parting in the world of Italian sports. 45-year-old cult football player Francesco Totti is divorcing his wife, 41-year-old TV presenter Ilari Blasi. The couple lived together for 17 years and gave birth to three children – they were rightfully considered Italian David and Victoria Beckham. Despite everything, the union split after rumors of an affair between Totti and the charming 34-year-old florist and big fan of the Roma football club Noemi Bocchi appeared on the net.

Note that Totti played for Roma throughout his 25-year career, during which he scored 250 goals, setting a professional record.

Last night, Ilari Blasi published an official statement announcing her breakup with Totti.

After 20 years of marriage and three wonderful children, my marriage to Francesco is over. However, the property division process will remain our own business and I will not make any further statements. I urge everyone to avoid speculation and above all to respect the privacy of my family.

The dramatic breakup came after months of speculation around the couple – in February of this year, they were even forced to deny that they were on the verge of breaking up.

The legendary soccer player married a former Miss Italy contestant in 2005. The magnificent celebration took place in Rome and was broadcast on national television. A little later in the same year, their first child, son Christian, was born. Also in this marriage, two girls were born – 15-year-old Chanel and 6-year-old Isabelle.

Ilari Blasi, who is known in her homeland as the “Queen of Rome”, is best known as a model who later became a TV presenter. She hosted the Italian version of Top of the Pops and even voiced a character on The Simpsons.
