“Sol was so big, so intense… it’s still very present in people’s memories, you know? So we also have to take care of it. I did another film, I was doing other work, so I didn’t do this test, I didn’t talk about it,” explained the actress, who ‘saved’ Sol on screen about a month ago.
“So I think that would be awesome. But I didn’t stop to think… I didn’t make that move. Should I have done that? Maybe. But I didn’t. And I think the lineup is amazing… I think it’s all good,” he added.
The new version of ‘Vale Tudo’ is scheduled to premiere in 2025, led by Manuela Dias.
Life before and after
Continuing to talk about playing Sol, Sheron acknowledges that there’s a life before and after the character. “Sol came to me in a place of mature women, of a woman who was a mother of teenagers… I hadn’t thought of that place yet. And it reached people, an audience, so… It spoke to so many real women,” the actress believes.
Although he expected the telenovela to be a hit, Sheron said he was surprised by the scale of the project. “It was huge,” he concluded.
