The date was chosen in honor of Live Aid, a mega-event that took place in 1985, bringing together shows by Queen, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Paul McCartney, David Browie, U2, Kiss, among other names that have established themselves in the genre.

Tina: The True Story of Tina Turner (1993) / Available on Star +

The production presents the life trajectory of singer Tina Turner, from when she was unknown in Tennessee to becoming a star. The film also depicts her troubled marriage to her mentor Ike Turner and her struggle to break free from her drug-related abusive behavior.

The video, stolen from the couple’s home by a disgruntled electrician (Seth Rogen), went from clandestine curiosity for VHS to a worldwide sensation when it hit the web in 1997.
